JLG 1350SJP Boom Lift Repair

All Recent Projects

Problem

The customer's JLG 1350SJP would not extend past the second boom section and was leaking hydraulic fluid at the job site, taking the machine out of service.

Diagnosis

Our technicians pressure-tested the hydraulic circuit, inspected the telescope cylinder and wear pads, and pulled fault codes from the machine control system to isolate the failure.

Repairs Performed

  • Replaced failed telescope cylinder seals and damaged hoses
  • Renewed boom wear pads and re-shimmed the boom sections
  • Flushed and refilled the hydraulic system with new filters
  • Repaired corroded wiring at the platform control box
  • Function-tested and load-tested through full height

Result

The lift reached full extension without leaks or faults and went back to work on the customer's site the same week.
